Joe Giacoio: Music

Joe's new CD, "I Sing The Body Acoustic", was recorded live as a trio in front of the Jecklin Disk stereo microphone array. The result is audiophile sound quality and the energy of a live performance. The trio consists of Joe, Greg Anderson (of "Whirligig") on guitar/bass/bouzouki, and Sarah Milanovich and Lisa Gutkin alternating on fiddle.

Beyond the great songwriting, Joe has brought some great players and singers onto this project. Richard Shindell lends harmony vocals throughout, and a little guitar to boot. Karen Nash, Jeannette Miller, Dan Pelletier, and Susan McKeown also add some nice harmony, while Lindsey Horner, Greg Anderson, Jeff Berman, and Lisa Gutkin all lay down the grooves. Joe's guitar playing can't be underestimated either, as he adds two great instrumental guitar pieces to the mix.
